This series started as a challenge
to myself. This piece was made by
drawing directly from the live model.
The process includes not looking down at the paper and not stopping or
lifting the pen during the drawing process. I then used theses drawings to create a series of large
paintings, each one being completed in a singular forty-five minute
session. The works in the series
were both physically demanding and artistically challenging. Very rewarding, nonetheless.
